Combatting Candy Overload

Halloween is quickly approaching. Stores have already put out their Thanksgiving and Christmas stuff. Crazy, but I'm not complaining! Chasing Delicious did a post today about the history of candy, the history of Halloween, and the history of Halloween and candy. It's pretty interesting since it's not something most people think about. Most people just take Halloween for what it is: candy and creepy decorations. There's also a cool poster that you can purchase that illustrates the history of candy.

On top of the candy that kids bring home, most people have extra candy left over from their bowl for trick-or-treaters. Plus all of the candy goes on sale on after Halloween to clear the shelves for the last of the Christmas merchandise that needs to go out. Here are some yummy looking recipes that can help you combat having a million fun-size candy bars!
